We welcome story ideas, but there are some types we typically do not cover:

• youth, high school or collegiate sports;
• crime or criminal court proceedings;
• arts and culture;
• graduations and academic honors;
• new hires and promotions; and
• stories not related to Charlottesville and Albemarle County.

Generally, we do not attend events occurring on weekends.
We receive a lot of emails and requests for coverage. We would like to respond to every one and attend every event, but we don’t have the resources to do so. But we have read your email and thank you for reaching out to us.
