After graduation she worked briefly as a contract worker for Americorps and through the Student Conservation Association for the federal government’s Department of the Interior for the National Park Service and Department of Agriculture for the National Forest Service. Every summer, Michaux enjoys attending the Soccer Academy adult soccer camp, a sleep away sports camp for grown-ups who miss (or never had the chance to attend) sports camp as children.
