Charlottesville Tomorrow was founded in 2005 and tasked with the job of following land use and planning issues that have huge impacts on local communities but often don’t get the coverage they deserve in the news sections of daily and weekly papers. Our work has helped raise the profile of these issues, and we remain committed to tracking decision-making on issues ranging from affordable housing to the design of parks and trails. Our public school systems in Charlottesville and Albemarle County are the single biggest line items in our municipal budgets and the stewards of our largest stream of tax funding.
