Charlottesville Tomorrow is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our subscribers and visitors to our website. We maintain the privacy of your information using security technologies and adhere to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information. Outlined below is our privacy policy for personal information collected through this website.

Personally Identifiable Information
We will not collect any personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, email address, credit card or other information, unless we explicitly request the information and you choose to provide it.  We use your personal information to send you email communication, respond to questions or requests and process online donations. If such information is collected, it may be shared with other closely aligned groups for the purposes of responding to any comments or questions you submit and to provide any follow-up information about our organizations and our issues. It also may be shared with an outside company to fulfill any request you have made to us, such as charging a donation to your credit card. We will not sell, rent, provide or disclose personally identifiable information to any commercial users or marketing firms.

Charlottesville Tomorrow also complies with the policies required by our email marketing provider, Mailchimp.

Opting Out
You can always “opt-out” of our email list communications to keep from receiving unwanted emails.  All of our email list communications contain opt out instructions and links at the bottom of the email. Alternatively, you can opt out of receiving online communications by sending an email with your request to gmorris@cvilletomorrow.org or by calling (434) 260-1533.

Credit Card Transactions
Subscribers who support the organization through online credit card donations will have their credit card numbers stored in an encrypted form in our web site online merchant provider’s (Blackbaud) database only as required to fulfill financial transactions and will only display the last four digits of credit card numbers on member web pages or confirmation emails.

Use of cookies
Cookies are pieces of information that are stored on your computer to help identify you while you visit our website. We use cookies to make visiting and using our website easier – so that you don’t have to continually re-enter form information, and so that we can tailor your visit to your expressed preferences.
